Volkskombuis has, over the years, became known for specialising in Traditional Cape cuisine. A selection of traditional specialities, such as Bobotie, “Waterblommetjiebredie”, Meraai’s Chicken pie and Karoo Lamb, has been favourites on the menu over the years. The chef, Dawid Kriel, adds new world ideas and styles to his special menu to offer patrons a greater variety of options. A variety of traditional set menus for groups are available. We can tailor-make a special menu for that special occasion.



 
The wines have been chosen to make the wonderful and award winning wines from this region available. We have a comprehensive selection of wines on our Diner's Club award winning wine list with many high quality wines by the glass also available.

We do offer wine tastings and wine promotions from time to time, and house wines and wine by the glass do change regularly.
